Manchester used to have the great aircraft manufacturer A.V. Roe. Now it's getting a casino - some swap!!! Other cities had car manufacturers, motor cycle factories, bridge designers, great textile manufacturing businesses, etc. But we gave it all away because management were too lazy and greedy to invest and concentrate on the business. Successive governments gave business to foreign competitors. So now we have no manufacturing left, we have little in the way of creative wealth producing industry. The only way to provide jobs now is to invent them - i.e. shelf stacking, working in a casino, join the health and safety industry, etc. Don't just grumble - start a business based on creativity and wealth generation.

They are for losers, they bring no skills to the society. If my kids are not corrupted, they are still polluted by people they associate with. We are not independent in this society. The more loser-facilities there are, the more that will follow.
People go in and plug there credit card in, and come out worse off. The casino owners just need to keep adding desks with swipes for the credit cards, load the software and get rich.

This is part of the continued process of dumbing down this country. The only people likely to frequent these dodgy establishments are the down-at-heel, the desperate, and criminal scum.
The only reason the government wants them is to cream off taxes from the proceeds. The whole thing stinks.
