Currently, Im running DSL, and I know how to set up the network, I just want to know if anyone is running a similiar rig, and what hardware you used, as far as the internet PC card and the wireless router. Im not very familiar with laptops, and Im trying to figure out if the Dell needs a particuliar hardware set up. Ive called Dell and Ive searched around the net, and I cant find anything. Any tips would be appreciated.

AGAIN, I know how to set the wireless network up, the question, which seems to have been ignored, is FOR THIS PARTICULIAR LAPTOP, does anyone know if there is a SPECIAL PC internet card I need to use for it, or if there are any cards that arent compatible.

I do not want to have to go through dozens of cards and routers before I find one that works.

If your computer doesn't have an internal NIC card, you'll have to get yourself one.

Regardless, you'll need a wireless router to split your DSL signal. Stick your DSL cable into the router and then from the router into the PC. Of course, once you do that, you'll want to follow your router instructions on creating a 'secure' network so people can't get into your wireless connection..... Not hard, and there are usually no problems..... Norton can present a problem - I hate to hear people use it because there are so many problems.
