I would love to go to Europe just to get out of the states for the summer. I have baby sat for almost 10 yrs and I think being a nannie in Europe would broaden my horizons. Has anyone been a nannie in Europe? if you have how would i go about getting a job there?

i'd totally recommend it - and you don't necessarily have to set it up before you go. just make sure you have enough money to live a couple weeks until you find a job. many families want nannies that ONLY speak english and can teach their children some english.

try to get a job in a country with a wealthier family so you can take trips with them and also in a country where you can travel yourself to a lot of countries nearby - I recommend switzerland.

consider searching under the title of au pair instead of nanny.

it should be really easy for you and fun!
