Mattel made the happy family series with Midge being pregnant. I have the one that Mattel forgot to put a ring on her finger. It was later added but then the doll was pulled off the store shelf . I guess the public didnt like seeing Barbies friend pregnant and un married.

I say it is a rare find to have a midge doll like that. did you try looking at the mattel website or barbie website. Depending on the year of your midge doll you can also find it under the year that mattel bought that doll out.

Hi- You can probably go to your local library and look in some of the doll Identification and price guides-Jan Foulke's is good and so is the 16th Blue Book on dolls prices and ID's . Good luck-Mellie

i would say yes it is worth something. if i were you, i would contact a barbie collector. they could tell more about your doll and if it is worth anything.
