Perhaps volunteering at a homeless shelter or a children's hospital would give you a better perspective that your little problems are just that...little...in comparison with other people's problems. Your mom doesn't really hate you, but maybe if you change your attitude a little, it'll make it easier to love you. Sometimes my kids are a pain. I love them a lot, but sometimes it sure is hard to like them. Do something to make yourself feel better. I really think volunteering is a good idea for you.

Try to have a more positive outlook on things, you will find more folks will want to be around you and your new positive attitude / outlook on life. The winter months are hard on a lot of folks, due in part to depression, and in part being all couped up in a house together. Hang in there, and try to help out where you can, be positive, and positive things will come back to you. Maybe not in the form of an iPod, but in things that will touch your heart for a lifetime, like maybe a hug from your mom or a close friend.
Best of luck to you, look forward to tomorrow, for you never know what blessings are awaiting for you if you keep a positive outlook on life. Good things happen to those who believe.

You sound like you are in a very negative frame of mind. When you think negative thoughts, negative things happen. When you get in a positive frame of mind, positive things happen. If you fear you have depression I'd talk to your doctor.
