to directly invest in the vietnamese stock exchange, google vietnam economic news (it's a news paper). they can supply you with a list of all the brokerage firms in vietnam. i know for sure that citi corp and prudential have offices in saigon and there are dozens more.

There are closed end fund that invests in Vietnamese companies, traded on the London Stock Exchange. They are also trade on the U S pink sheets.
1. VNMHF Vietnam Holdings Ltd. $2.85 +- a share not too actively traded.
2. VTOPF Vietnam Opportunity Fund. $4.25 +- a share
This has doubled in price since November. Very actively traded.

If you are in the USA, some companies, like Etrade, have an international trading desk that you can call. You must place the trade over the phone though
