Has anyone ever had a romantic relationship w/ a member of a rock band? And if so, how was it and how did it turn out? I'm looking to see other people's experiences w/ band members.

Actually, I married the lead singer of a rock band, but it's a band nobody really knows - just a local one around the Philly area. Thank god he was attending college at the same time he was in the band. That way he ended up outgrowing the band and he got a great job and we started our life together. But deep down inside, he still has that little bit of an edge to him, ya know? I have the best of both worlds.

yep - been there - done that....its exciting and very entertaining (at first)...then it gets old, and trust becomes an issue due to the fact that girls hit on members of a band when they do gigs...You could go to every show, but then you look like a groupy or a very insecure, untrusting ball and chain....lol...I suggest - have fun with it, and dont be too clingy, but you really should have activities with the girls planned for nights that you and him wont be together......Good Luck....and ROCK ON!!!

Yes. Just a local band. We've been together for 7 years. You have to be very patient and trusting.

Well in 12th grade I dated some dude who was in a "rock band" but wasn't famous and probably never would be.
It was interesting and it turned out with me getting bored and dumping him and dating someone much better. His music sucked and he was pretensious.
