She's too irresponsible to call verizon switch to unlimited texting and now our bill has tripled this month. Its in her name so they won't let me change anything.

yes you can, not sure if it's legal though. assuming you know your wife's info... you can go to verizon's web address, log in with her information, and it will let you make changes to her plan. OR- get a friend thats a woman to call and pretend to be her.

If the contract is in her name, you're out of luck. But there are various programs, shared minutes, savings packages that you can get as liong as the two of you agree about it. if push comes to shove, let the bill go unpaid (if money's a problem) and the phone co. will shut you off. then YOU can go back, and in YOUR name, get new service and a new number and put your wife on a short leash. You'll still have to pay the other bill, but at least you're half-way there. Good luck.

Don't pay the bill. They will turn her off. Then tell her you will pay the bill when she changes to unlimited texting.
