Why the suspension? It doesn't make sense, if it was intentionally done, i could understand it. I was at the game, nearly in front of the incident. Yeah Kobe accidently struck his face but Manu hit himself when he was falling and his face hit the floor. This only adds to the injury.

Watch the replays, if you get stripped of then ball when you go up for a shot like when Ginobili blocked Kobe, then your arms go out like that. Kobe requested an appeal, he might get a hearing to get the suspension rescinded before tip-off tonight.

I have seen the replay several times, even though Manu is known for taking dives Kobe did go out of his way to send him a message.

ok, kobe's ''ball hogging'' is amazingly helping his team. you may not call a guy with an generic of 30.8 factors a ball hog or a jerk. Who cares about him elbowing people! He nonetheless is getting better effective and larger effective after basket and basket....kobe bryant is unstopibble now

If that kind of contact is going to get someone suspended for a game then they should just forget about basketball and have them play H.O.R.S.E. It's ridiculous that they don't let these guys play. 10 guys on a court trying to put a small ball in a small hoop are going to get in each others way. As long as they aren't throwing punches or kicks, they should let them play.

no kobe clearly hit him I mean he wasnt even near and why would someone sway there arm that way after a shot. They put the arms down not swing to the side. Kobe what a ball hogger !!
