My sons father and I split up a year ago after 3 years and I never quite got over it; then the other day while he was seeing our son he asked me to listen to this song for him. So I was like ummmm ok? After I did he just sat there smiling at me and told me I looked like I was gonna cry; I tried to say I was fine but he can see right through me and I just couldnt help it. This song helps describes alot of the feeling that he had been feeling and it really hits home for us. I think its great that someone wrote a sond like this. There are not many songs out there like it. I know the sittuations are differnt but it can be interpretated(sp) in a differnt way. I love this song.
