Both. My slinky was the old kind...you know, one of those metal ones. It pinched me a few times, but it worked so much better than those darn plastic ones. Okay, never mind, I do say SLINKY!

Slinky's!! I like making it go down the stairs! My 4 year old niece has one and complained to her Mom that I never let her play w/hers when I'm @ their house. I asked for one for Christmas but I guess they thought I was joking...
