One of my friends was over the other day and he was sitting on my couch, and when he got up all i could smell was as$! The same thing happened last night when we watched the basketball game at my house. He had my whole place smelling like as$! I'm having a card game tonight and he's supposed to come. Should i tell him about his funk, cause there will be people from my job coming over to play and i don't want him to be embarrassed. What should i do?

Yes and tell him not to come over unless he washes his clothes and his azz WELL!!!!!!!! Tell him to use soap, deodorant, powder, lotion. That way their will be no funk.

Yes, tell him. but if you value his friendship, then tell him in the nicest way you can. Tell him that you haven't said anything when the two of you are alone, you just dealt with it. But since you have coworkers coming over, you fell that you must address it because you don't want "him" (not you) to be embarrassed.
He may still take offense, I don't care how nice you put it. But he should bathe. just because you're his friend doesnt give him the right to just come over to your house smelling like B.O.
And you certainly don't want to end up opening your windows while your coworkers are over, or your coworkers to leave early because they need some fresh air (laugh).
So yes, tell your friend, but try to do it diplomatically if you respect his friendship. Is he severly overweight? If so, that could be causing the hygine problem. But if he is not overweight, then he is just not being clean, period!

Yes, you should tel him cause your friends and you dont want him to be all mad when someone else tells him. Just call him up on the phone and tell him whats up. Dont be rude, let him know what the deal is. ya boy and you aint tryin to put him down or nonthin.Maybe he doesent have enough money and he is to embarrest to ask you or someone else for help. Then if he was to embarrest to ask,let him know that you are there when ever he needss you.
But, make it sound MANLY so it wont sound gay.

I don't know about most people, but if you were my friend and I had an odor problem I would expect you to tell me. It is best to hear something that unpleasant from someone who cares about you, and who will tell you in private; not humiliate you in front of others. People can be very intolerant of things they don't personally experience. Please tell him nicely and do it seriously so that he doesn't think it is a joke or something. Maybe he is unaware of the situation, or he didn't pay his water bill or something and can't wash himself or his clothes. Offer him your shower and fresh clothes before the party. If he is offended then that's his problem--at least you cared enough to tell him.

take him aside and tell the truth, tell him before your cardgame
because if you don,t you won,t have any friends over tonight.
now his feelings will be hurt but ask if he needs soap
deordant or anything in the end he will thank you for being
being his boy, cause that is what good friends do.

if he really truly is your friend, the friendly thing to do would be to tell him, you wouldnt want to be embarrassed in this situation, and neither does he. just put it nicely and let him know you were looking out for his best interests. he is your friend, he should be able to take some helpful criticism and not be offended. just dont be a prick to him about it.
