What island is a must see in Greece?

You'll have great sunny weather in July and a calm blue sea. There is an amazing number of islands in Greece but Crete, Rhodes, Santorini and maybe Samos definitely are must sees. Corfu, on the Italian side, is also a must see. Do forget about Mykonos, though... Its prices are high and, as has already been said, it's obscenely windy at times. Now, you'll also get some wind in, say, Crete. But the wind in Crete is pleasant and cools down a bit the otherwise very hot temperature.

Greece is beautiful no matter which summer month you are there....now the difference in area is very slight....e.g. mykonos is very windy all times of the year as well as many of the eastern islands of Greece like Samos and Rhodes....the wind though helps at times where temperatures can get very hot for some people...its all about taste and how hot is hot for you! The weather has nothing to be worried over like a hurricane or something like that which is seasonal in other parts of the world but not Greece. I have been there every summer for the past seven years and I remember it raining a total of five times in the month of July in seven years!

I went to Mykonos, Santorini and Paros in July last year and the weather was fine - not as hot as i thought it would be and Mykonos was obscenely windy.

I would say that Santorini was a must see. I loved Greece but had a bit of morning sickness whilst i was there so probably didnt enjoy it as much as i would have liked.

July is a hot month occasionally reaching 100 F but not as a rule. The climate in the summer months is very dry and the heat is a dry heat, not a tropical, humid climate. The northeasterly wind, meltemi, in the summer make the Aegean by 10 degrees cooler than other parts of the country.

All of them, because each one has its own beauties...
Most popular islands among foreign visitors are Santorini, Paros, Patmos, Rodos, Kerkyra (Corfu), Zante and Crete.

In July it is always hot, sometimes exceeding 40° Celsius...

Great, about 75. Santatorini and Mykonos. Skip Rhodes, too German touristy, also loved Crete. My spelling may have been off a bit.
