thats easy.....By the plays he makes on the field.....And that he is also a real character person......Character is as important to me as talent........Example Jerry Rice......The greatest to ever play the game and a great guy too.....I don't care how talented a football player is if they appear to be a jerk I won't like them...

By appreciating their athletic ability and what they do for your football team. I love Steve Smith for what he's able to do for the Carolina Panthers, but I don't LOVE him......you know what I mean.
