Frequency is measured in Hertz (Hz) or
in cycles per second (cps)

Frequency is measured in Hertz, Hz, or Mega Hertz, MHz.

One Hz is equal to one cyle per second. One MHz is equal to 10^6 cycles per second.

Hertz.
1 Hertz = 1 cycle per second, not 60

For everyday things, mostly we use cycles per second (hertz = 1/s). For most mathematical applications of frequency, radians per second (two pi radians make a cycle) is more convenient.

60 cycles per second (the frequency of our AC power) is 60 hertz, not 1 hertz.
