sure, sometimes it's really hard to decide but why not be able to give them each 10 instead of 5?

It would be nice to have the option, but then it wouldn't be a BEST answer since that means only one.
And then what do you do if 10 people give you the same? Are the quicker ones rewarded or not?
A little more flexibility would still be nice though for those times where a few people give alot of thought and come up with 2 different yet good answers.

sometimes the best answer is obvious, but other times its so hard to decide i just have to hope other people are rating them and go on the majority. so yeah, splitting points would be a good choice to have

Yeah. A lot of times there are two really good answers and I am torn between them. 2 best answers would be awesome!

yes, sometimes you have two people who are deserving of the best answer. However, I normally give it to the person that chimed in first.
