I dont feel it is dirty to have a dog in the house, I think it depends on howwell you keep your house clean. Some people can even have a dirty house and not have a dog in the house. It is NOT the dog that makes the house dirty.

Well, from personal experience I can tell you that yes, they can be dirty, but then again, so can the kids.

Dogs are totally worth the trouble. However, it is not worth having one if you are not going to let it be a part of the family (i.e. in the house).

Dogs, if kept as pets, are fully a member of the family. They are pack animals, and the human family they live with is their "pack." Keeping a dog outdoors, away from the family, is cruel to say the least. Dogs require socialization and human companionship, not being left in a yard 24/7.
And hey, LIFE is dirty, squishy, messy, and unsanitary. So let the dog in the house and learn to deal with it! Otherwise, give the dog to a family that will welcome it in.

Growing up on a farm, we wouldn't let our dog into the house unless there was a bad storm (and even then it was just the porch). Most city dogs don't run wild and stay in the backyard or the park with the owners. As long as the dog is healthy, why wouldn't you let him in the house.

It's not dirty to have a dog inside the house, unless offcourse the dog is dirty.

I think it is okay 2 have a dog in the house only if your dog is bathed regularly and is potty trained. Oh yeah... and u might wanna check them for fleas and ticks!

Not me, I love dogs and have two, they are both in the house.
We wipe thier feet off when it rains or snows so they don't track mud in, I wouldn't let them eat off the table but in the house, sure. I think it's cruel to have a dog and keep them outside.
