Good job you guys, I guess there really is a lot of people who know who he is. Ran for 1800+ his rookie season. And then 2105 his second year. Both records.

It's hard to mention anything not mentioned before, but among other things, his 2,105 rushing yards in 1984 set the NFL record for rushing yards in a season. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame; still I see your point how he is never mentioned among the best RB's ever. Why he isn't really is a good question.

Too low whatever it was. Alot of people dont realize in college he shared carries with Craig James and still managed 1000 yard seasons. With a better offensive line he breaks Emmitts rushing record

A definite bad ass in high school and college. Went to SMU with another guy named Craig James (TV announcer) deadly duo. Kind of injury prone in the pros if I remember but still in the Top 10

Well, yes ED was super with the Rams and Colts, but he faded miserably with the Falcons and Raiders. i would put him in the top 10, but not five. He had a tendancy to wuss out in playoff games. He took himself out of games with the Rams and Colts, because he didnt feel like playing.

rb from Sealy, Texas. went to SMU. about 6'2" or 6'3". was in the same mold as OJ Simpson; big and strong with track speed. second back to reach 2000 in a season. very underrated...i'd put him in my top 5 easy

Retired as the second all-time leading rusher with 13,259 yards on 2,996 carries. . .Named to six Pro Bowls. . .All-Pro five times. . .Led the league in rushing three times with Rams, once with Colts

how do you say he wussed out in playoff games when he broke the playoff rushing record at one point...and bigger backs do tend to fade earlier true, but that doesn't mean he still wasn't a better back than say Emmit Smith in his prime.

Eric was one of the all time best. I am not sure if I would put him in the top five, but definitely the top ten.
