I believe it is possible, although I cannot defend this belief on the basis of science (not yet, anyway). On the basis of science we want to say that our thoughts are merely brain states (or bodily processes), and there is no scientific basis for explaining how I could feel your thoughts in any way other than by simply talking about them, or picking up subtle clues from body language. From a scientific perspective, this is how apparent psychic abilities like telepathy would be explained.
But I would say that we really do not know enough about the nature of matter or reality to say that thoughts couldn't have influences beyond the ability of current scientific theories to explain. I believe that all things are essentially interdependent. In saying this, I mean more than just that things are connected by gravity, electromagnetism, causal chains of influence, etc. When I mention "essential interdependence" I am talking about the actual constitution or essence of things. The actual essence of my being – the core of my identity – includes, in some ways, all other entities in existence. In light of this, it does not seem unreasonable that we could share thoughts in a more direct and intimate way that we ordinarily imagine.
If some form of telepathy or direct empathy does exist, I suspect it would involve correlations of physical activity at quantum levels in the brain. In the realms of quantum physics we are already familiar with the potential for non-causal correlations (see "EPR paradox" for more info on this sort of quantum weirdness), so it is not any great conceptual leap to imagine that non-classical correlations could arise between the material processes of individual people – which is to say, that you and I might share some level of brain activity on a fundamental level, representing the fact that our essential identities are "overlapping" to some degree as we "share" a feeling or a thought in some otherwise unexplainable way. If this is true, then physical distance would be totally irrelevant. In the EPR paradox, for example, the "spooky" correlations between particles are in no way related to distance. Two particles could be separated by millions of light years and still be non-classically correlated.
Keep in mind I am only offering wild conjecture – not any sort of actual scientific explanation of psychic powers. I am simply pointing out that although there is currently very little scientific basis for believing in psychic powers, IF some good evidence for such powers did become verifiable, there would be some room within current theories to look for an explanation. My own experiences and intuition tell me that at some point science will indeed have to come to grips with this sort of phenomenon, but this is just my own conjecture.

Mmmm I can know what my girlfriend is thinking sometimes by looking into her eyes. Even though Im in the US, and she's in South America..I can pick up on her body language and read her mind a number of times. Her smile can send me into another world, so distance doesnt matter..it can help the heart grow too.
Even if its something I dont want to share, my family can pick up when I am sad or concentrating on something by my actions too. Not everyone has such telltale signs though or is easy to read.
try to think of your best friend or someone you get along with well. You two can probably read each other easily and feel each other's thoughts. hope this helps!

I believe that some people are more in tune to the spiritual world than others. Not in an occultist way, but some people just notice things that others cannot. I believe that it is a gift and that extreme situations can make these occurences more obvious to those who are in tune with it. Distance doen't matter in my opinion when you are spiritually close to someone!

In what way you mean? If you are sending it via composition of words, there should be no problem understanding your thoughts. If you mean sending it through brain waves or extra sensory power, i also believe you could feel. It depends how strong your intellect is, you can never underestimate its willpower. Through experience, i tried experimenting by thinking about my mother, I called her up and ask her what was she thinking at that moment, she said it was me, she felt like i was with her giving her a big hug. True to life experience.

innovations may well be measured as electric powered innovations activity on an EEG device, however the content fabric of innovations has yet to be measured from an exterior source. in assessment to the wires that we run electrical energy with the aid of, we don't be attentive to "how" innovations commute. Quantum theory ability that innovations are "nonlocal" this ability that they have got no time or distance. think of of a guy or woman and, growth!, you're there. we've all had the adventure of understanding who develop into calling while the telephone rings, or having somebody spring to innovations and then listening to their exhilaration which you called provided that they had basically been questioning of you! Now think of utilising the capacity of innovations to actively help somebody of their existence and you would be tapping into endless skill, for your self and those you help! try it. once you start to consciously artwork which includes your individual theory technique, you open a door to unimagined enhance and risk! happy questioning~

Yes. All sounds are waves, and waves disturb the Universe. Even if we just think of things/people, we name them in our minds. And our minds send out waves of their own. So, I believe that people somewhere sense those waves, and react to it. In one way or another.

I've had ESP experiences which can't be explained by wishful thinking on my part. I don't think distance does matter overly much.

YES. IT ALL DEPENDS YOUR CAPABILITY TO SEND THE THOUGHT WAVES(PURE) AND ALSO CAPABILITY OF THE RECIPIENT TO KNOW WHO HAS SENT THE THOUGHT.THE DISTANCE DOES NOT MATTER
