Now Specter is challenging Bush's assertion that he is the "decider." The only time they can get on the same page is if there are kickbacks involved. In an ever changing world, aren't progressives relevant and conservatives passe?

Dennis:
1) You should show a LOT more respect to your father, unless he was just that cruel to you
2) The only reason Bush is ignoring the system is because they don't agree with him in the first place. Think about it, if your family was telling you to skip college when you already had a plan and scholarship set up, would you listen to your family and just give up all you've worked for? I'm sorry, but I want a President that can think for himself and not always listen to what the fightin' frightened Congress is going to say. Congress doesn't care if what the public says is bad, as long as they're not the President and don't look bad in front of America, even though it's still SO wrong, they are willing to do anything

No, I think Specter is just reaffirming the fact that our government is supposed to be based on three branches of government with a system of checks and balances to keep one from gaining too much power. Bush ignores this and seems to think that whatever he says, goes, much like my Dad used to. But I showed him. He can't tell me to clean my room when he's buried in the backyard, now can he!?! bwahahahahaha!

They are seriously dismantled. Democrats will be walking on water after '08 and in two years will break up into separate parties. Hillary will not be able to hold them together, especially with WILD WILLY IN THE WHITEHOUSE CLOSET.
