50 years ago when people heard the word Hilton they thought of the hotel chain. The hotels were seen as majestic palaces where the affluent and royals resided. Today however, the old Hilton brand has been defiled by the reputation of one the chains heiresses, Paris Hilton. Everyday this woman gets the attention of the news media for doing things that are far from regal. Because of Ms.Hiltons reputation the word Hilton in the media has become synonymous with promiscuity and immorality. Wouldn't you consider this bad P.R.

YES!!! she is discusting, sje degrades WOMAN in general not only the Hilton chain. Selfish little b***h who thinks about herself and herself only.
I think half the population of hollywood has slept with her. That's just nasty!!!

Well I find it hard to believe that a hotel can be promiscuous...
Remember she is representing an OBJECT, not a living thing(s) and you can't really defile an object.
But yeah I've stayed at a Hilton hotel, it was quite nice and I didn't really base any opinons around it because of Paris Hilton. She is just an attention seeking individual who most people hate, I really view the hotel as something that just doesn't have much to do with her.

To be honest the Hilton hotel does not have that much to offer...where there's a Hilton there's a handful of better hotels around it. I think that Paris keeps the Hilton name circulating. I mean the Hilton is about a 2 star in my eyes-not exactly the classiest place on earth already...

Hilton Properties stand on their own. In affluent society, there are always going to be trampy, wanna-be bad girls. She's probably a societal eye roll rather than someone that any royal would take seriously (unless we are talking pubescent royals, of course). Trust me, no one of societal stature thinks twice about her. Her stardom is the product of American white trash TV reality and nothing more. Real society doesn't care. BTW, many Hilton Hotels are like Holiday Inn's. They are not that fantastic.

I think the people that think about Paris Hilton don't even really realize she is a Hilton Hotel heiress at first. These hotels are such an institution that I really don't think even Paris could taint their reputation.

Its bad PR for her parents.
The management and staff of Hilton Hotels are professionals who are in the hospitality business. I don't think their eyes have been blacked.

Personally, I separate the two. I think of her as a hollywood ditz, but I still highly regard the hotels. They don't mix in my head since they're so different.
