What does hardrive failed mean?

With a further message of Boot up disk for XP A disk floppy? How do I make or obtain this disk?

Sounds like your hard drive containing the operating system crashed. The onlything you can do now is replace the drive and reinstall the operating system. It is now looking to boot up off a removable disk like a CD. I would say the thing is toast.

But before you panic, make sure there are not removable disks in any drive, such as a floppy or a CD. Depending on the boot up sequence it may try to boot up off of one of those drives if there is a disk in there.
