I have problems with my period. Sometimes I skip 2 months, sometimes even three. I was pregnant 2 years ago with twins and had a miscarriage, and have been trying ever since, but with my ovulation being so messed up it is really hard. The last time I had my period was December 18th. On Janurary 27th I started bleeding but only for a couple of hours and it was dark brown. I took a pregnancy test about a week ago and it was negative, and my boobs don't hurt, and I just need some advice. Why would I only bleed for a couple of hours? My periods usually last about 6 days. I had hormone tests done and one was a little elavated, but everything else was fine. I started having problems with my period after my D&C, and I'm afraid the doctor did something. Although my new obgyn said that she highly doubts I had a botched D&C. She thinks I may have the beginning of PCOS. Anyone have any advice I would really appreciate it

First of all, calm down.
You need to get yourself a second opinion, and then start thinking about what to do. If you need more info on PCOS go to: http://www.pcosupport.org/
I suggest you buy a fertility monitor (I use Clear Blue Easy) and the book Taking charge of your fertility. These two can be helpful tools for you and your Obgyn once you start charting your cycles.
Good luck and God Bless.
