Usually medium well but they have to do it right...if they are a bad at cooking steaks I will say medium. by the way you are one special lady having six children! That is awesome.

I usually like it rare on the inside with a little char on the outside, if it can be managed. I think that would be Well/Rare, which I don't think exists.
