One of several thing happened:
1) You were hired then someone in the company cancelled the job opening, or 2) the job was postponed, or 3) they did find someone else to fill it.

Give them the benefit of the doubt. Even if the job was postponed someone liked you well enough to offer you a position.

If you are truly interested in working in this position, then you should pursue it further. Phone the company back and try to speak to the same person who offered you the job. If he/she is not available, then leave a message for them to return your call. If they do not, then you know you've been scammed. Forget it, learn from it and move on.

It sounds like a flaky organization. You may have dodge a bullet by not working for them. If you got one job, you can get another. You're obviously employable.

nope! if they are stalling, don't bother with that employer because it doesn't look like it is a good future for you there. Move on to something else.

i understand somebody who have been given a respond 2 years later. do not be shocked if it takes some extra weeks for them to touch you, yet while they promised to touch you as we communicate, and that they fail to maintain their promise, then you definately could definately supply them a decision.
