I make simple spelling mistakes and the grammer is worse. but try to avoid using spell checker because of the slight differences in how we spell for example (realise jump the pond realize) have you noticed any difference?

The answer is YES. You are aware, I trust, that both "REALISE" and "REALIZE" are equally correct spellings in the English language. Word Spell checking however usually selects the latter and tell you the former is wrong. So it is wrong, not you! Also spellchecks can all too often misinform you that a word that you spelled wrongly is spelled right. e.g.if you type "please give me a peace of bread" the spell check will not tell you your spelling mistake, the dictionary will!

ys , the difference between realise and realize is the "s" and the "z". One is British and the other is American. But it's all the same. It depends upon you and which language you prefer and the meaning is one . so just read and reading will guide you to grammar, structure, and spelling and will make you stronger in them. Read and write.
Note; when u write on the computer run the " spell check " wizard and click the "explain" button. This will help u in organizing your structure, punctuation and correct your spelling mistakes. If you can consult a professional in the English Language. This will help you get better. Good luck and best regards to those who are learning to get better in life.

Any time you have something else do work that you yourself are capable of doing, then it makes you become lazy.
Just remember the electronic calculator. People went from having a good basic grasp of mathematics to being numerically illiterate.
