McCain is one of the handful of Republicans with a chance in 2008. Most others will fall to the 'time for a change' syndrome. He has the ability to capture the independents and cross over Dems. He will make blue states like California competitive. Other contenders will have a challenge to carry the same states as Bush did.
Hillary will activate Republicans would otherwise sit on their hands. She should not be underestimated. She will disarm the media in the style of Reagan with a quick "there you go again".

for me personally that would be a touch one, health care v/s a guy who can get us out of Iraq. but in the end I think I vote for health insurance, because I could care less about Iraq.
