I want to mail a letter to Hong Kong. I used to do it in a Post Office but now I am busy. The postage is around 75p to £1. Can I simply put 4 second class stamp of 23p each, air mail sticker and put it in a normal Royal Mail Box instead of going to the Post Office? Is the normal Mail box just for UK inland use only?

Try this out on the Royal Mail's own site.

NO is the short answer,
unless you are posting a blue airmail letter.
try and get someone to go for you as it is better to be safe than sorry.
