People alwase blame israel for defending themself. Why? Israel has NEVER in its history starded a war. I meen come on, these people attack israel for no reason but to take the land that it belongs to. If someone attacked your countyr on a daily basis wouldent you finaly attack back. I agree with the asker. Since Israel was first legally establish, it has been under attack. In 1967, Israel defeated several Arab countries. Israel is only one country yet so many countries had to gang up on Israel because those Arab nations have a bunch of weaklings in them; that have resorted to terrorism and gang fighting. The land has always belonged to Israel from the beginning of time. They have just been exiled from it and have returned. As for the Palestinians living in Israel and to all other Arabs in Israel, the Israeli government has given them fair and equal rights. Israel is a democracy and allows all religions and races to live freely in their country. The arab nations in the middle east are the ones who force people to convert to Islam. This stems from the beginnig when Muhammed slaughtered people all across the middle east unless they converted to islam by force. Israel is merely defending themselves. They could easily have taken Hexzboolah down but Israel doesn't try to kill civilians; only muslims resort to that evil.

This is not the appropriate forum for the long winded answer you deserve, I will simply say you must examine the ENTIRE history of the conflict and see the plight of the poor people who have been effected and suffer daily. In this day and age of the internet and media and everybody talking at the same time, it is easy to get forced into one side of the debate or the other, without seeing the whole picture.

I don't always blame them but they do step over the line an awful lot. They have some reason to be aggressive and to launch preemptive attacks but why hit the women and children on purpose. As far as them never starting a war well in 1967 they did attack a US ship and if not for our liberal president at the time they may have found themselves in a war.

No one is blaming Israel for defending itself,well at least if it would have done so...But since 1967 (when they did attack 3 countries,and this in my opinion is starting a war) they keep saying that they "defend themselves",although they stopped doing this a long time ago...

Well, the thing is, many people, especially (but not always) left-wingers, support whichever side/people in a conflict is smaller and weaker. Now, in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Palestinians are less numerous, and certainly weaker. BUT they deserve no sympathy because they harrass and assail Israel.
It's such a stupid thing to do. It's like the smallest, weakest kid on the playground going up to a bigger, stronger kid and making fun of him, shouting lies about him, hitting him, spitting on him... well, are you SURPRISED when this bigger kid eventually picks up this small annoying kid and snaps his neck?
