I have an older pc that only has 4x. Will GeForce Verto 6200 run (agp 8x) in my 4x slot?

Not always backwards compatible, boy what a headache 4x and 8x and compatibility issues where.

***The motherboard must except the type of card you have or it will not work***

There are diffrent agp slot versions 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0, each with diffrent voltage configurations.... I wont go on since another source has done an excellent job explaining and providing pictures of the diffrences. Enjoy the source its the best I have seen in regards to AGP slots. Bottom Line it should work if the motherboard is 3.0 compliant and not 2.0.

This card is AGP 8X/4X compliant.

maximum possibly that motherboard does by using now. in case you verify Jetways internet site and notice in the event that they have a bios replace, maximum possibly if there is an replace there is help for x8... sounds love that's time for a clean CPU/MB. you would be so satisfied in case you probably did...
