Yes, Yes, and No. Let me put it this way : I have a loving, stable monogamous marriage of over 25 years. My Partner has a well-paying stable job, and if we were a "normal" couple" I would already be on her insurance, be eligible for her pension and death benefits and we would be more than fit to have or to adopt as many children as we could keep. Just because of a teeny little gender shift all this changes. I really don't see a problem just because of a gender and when I talk to God about it, God doesn't either. Blessings.

Gay marriage should be legal. We let felons marry, so why not gays? Not saying that being gay is wrong, just that when we look at two people together, working to take care of their estate and each other, some people should have the RIGHT and some people don't really deserve it anymore.

Do people choose to fall in love? I have no idea, not having been in love before. People choose to get married though. People choose to make or break all kinds of committments and the law should be blind to who gets paired with who.

Fighting all the time is degrading to the family. Families should be united and accepting of each other.

Yes, Gay marriage should be legal. Marriage isn't about gender or race or thigns like that. It's about love! If two people love each other, they have the right to marry each other and be a legal couple!

I am great friends with a lesbian couple, adn they are just like any other couple!

I think homosexuality, being choice or born with it, differs from person to person. Some choose it, some are born with it.

It is definately not degrading for a family to have two mothers and not fahter or two fathers and no mother. They are jsut like any other family if they love each other, support each other, and care for each other.

And Cathy C, and who ever else goes on about homosexuality being sin: If two people love each other, how is it evil? Isn't love supposed to be keeping the world alive and all? How can we help each other if we can't help ourselves?

Anyone who loves each other has the right to marriage or anythign else that harms no one and expressed their love.

I think it's degrading to the many gay families that ALREADY exist that they get no legal recognition or protections.

Absolutely. Families headed by two committed adults contribute to societal stability - it really makes no difference if they are a man and a woman, or two men, or two women.

YES! NOPE! NOPE!!!!!

Divorce should be made illegal in this country, or DIFFICULT TO GET, and it's these religious kooks who run wild in this country who degrade the family - like Cathy C. above me. Isn't she pleasant?

As my great-great-grandmother said, "You will never make yourself happy by trying to make other people unhappy."

Also, "Happiness isn't bought from a store or stolen from other people. You can only get it by making it for yourself."

Even if I wasn't in a same-sex marriage (not a legal one) myself, I would remember that, and support others' right to make their own happiness.

Same sex marriage should be legal.
Homosexuality is an inborn trait, not a choice.
No, the actions of another person does not harm what I have in any way.

I find it odd that more and more people are "coming out" and admitting to being gay. I also find it odd that these same people end up being straight after a few years of "experimenting". It's an abomination declared by GOD. There is no marriage without consumation. Two people of the same sex can not consumate a marriage, it's impossible. Therefore, gay marriage should not even be an issue. I have found that being gay is simply a sexual choice. If we don't teach our children about GOD, they will be at risk for falling prey to this kind of behavior. Thank you and GOD bless.
