Tough one this. There seems to be an underlying story with regards to the half cylon half human baby. It is possible that when fully grown it will act as a sort of ambassador and negotiate a peace of sorts.
There was a "sort of" peace between the Cylons and Humans at the start of season three. Okay - the Cylons took over New Caprica and treated people like garbage but at least they were not in an active war.
The final outcome will be decided once BSG finds earth. If and when they get around to it we'll have an answer then.
So in answer to your question - I hope so... but not for a long time, save the series ends.

Battlestar Galactica became right into a terrific coach until eventually they landed on New Caprica.. it went downhill from there. This season is determining on up slightly although, too undesirable they desperate to make the attempt over the final season. lol
