not a kiddie game i'm 18, but nothing too mature b/c i have fairly young people in the house i don't want them to walk nby and see adult thingsw on the screen, just basic on;line community with e-mail, chat and other stuff like myspace

well you can try a web search for free MMO's like Dragon Fable and MapleSea and Rune Scape or you can buy one like Guildwars or EverQuest

if you like to play online games and chat with people check out clubpogo.com they even have person u can dress up using tokens u win, male or female. There are also weekly challenges for the hundreds of games they have which is alot of fun. Will take the boardom away and you also meet a lot of crazy people that like to have fun etc.

Well here you go.GaiaOnline is a good place for roleplaying and community.You can make your own avatar but some items are limited edition which is hard to find.However they are making a quest system to retrieve the items very soon.
It is rated PG-13 but you can add a word filter if you like on your account.

Neopets sounds like it would be right up your ally. Lots of flash based games, and it isn't just for kids. (It was actually made for bored college students.) It's very family oriented as well, and is quite fun. It has it's own system of currency (neopoints) and you can buy, sell and trade goods, from NPCs and other players. It doesn't cost anything to join and it is great fun.

if u want a game, theres tons of mmorpg, if u want a proper comunity IMVU or Second life are good :)
