How long did it take you to conceive your first child? I'm planning to try for a baby soon and I'm just curious.

Thanks!

Well, this time, we didn't "really try" - we just skipped the use of bc and I got pregnant 4 months later. With my previous husband, I tried and tried for over 6 years and we didn't end up having a child. My advice is relax, let things roll in God's hands and have lots and lots of fun while you are trying ;)

good luck.

My first baby was a complete surprise and was conceived while I was on the pill. We are trying for number 2 now and it's been about 5 months. Wish it were as simple as the first time around! :o)

LOL i didn't try it just happened. The funny thing is i was on the pill and using protection. since i was 9 my dr's told me i could never get pregnate, and if by some odd chance i did, i wouldn't be able to carry it, that it would probably kill both of us.
So,i didn't want kids.
my daughter is 3 years old now and she is my angel. I consider her a special gift becouse we are both healthy, and she defied all odds.
Shes a miracle. Good Luck and I hope your as happy and in love with your baby as I am.

It took my husband and i almost 2 years after I had a miscarriage. I was 32 when we started trying again. Got pregnant at 34 and now have my baby at 35. Good luck!

we got pregnant the first month we got off Birth control...

BUT, these past two weeks have taught me that getting pregnant isn't the hard part...it's staying pregnant...Don't be as naive as I was, getting pregnant doesn't mean a baby will automatically arrive in 40 months. I'm learning it's a process....

Good luck to you! Im happy for you!

between my miscarriage and my first child it was 3 years....between my first and second, 4 years.

We gave up trying and then wham! Hello mommy! Just remember to relax and take your time. My girlfriend got preggo in the first month of deciding to try again. It's all different, but if you relax and don't stress to hard, then there's a greater chance of conception...

It took me 3 months. After 2 months I went to my OBGYN and let him know I was ttc. He ran some blood tests and had me chart my basal body temperature daily to see if and when I was ovulating. I would highly recommend discussing ttc with your OBGYN before you start. Best of luck to you.
