Joe Clifford Montana is the greatest Super Bowl QB of all time!

Only two starting QBs have won four Super Bowl rings: Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw. While this is an impressive feat for both men, people are glossing over the fact that Joe Cool was a much more dominant figure in his performances. Though Terry Bradshaw was a great, great quarterback, his team was a run first, defensive unit. The 49er offense depended on Joe much more in those games. Joe Montana responded in legendary style. He not only dominated those games, but he NEVER threw a single interception in the big one. On top of that, he led a game winning drive in Super Bowl XXIII against the Bengals that proved steady, cool headed leadership under the greatest of pressure situations.

That being said, the answer to your question is obvious. The greatest Super Bowl quarterback of all time is "The Punky QB" Jim Mcmahon.

GO BEARS!!!

Joe Montana simply because he has won the most super bowls ever as a QB with 3. And has the highest super bowl QB rating with 103.2.

Between Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana.

Both have 4 rings.

I would say Montana only because he was the Super Bowl MVP three times. Something no player has done.

Joe Montana.............And my favorite QB of all time.....Steve Young........Doesn't get any better than those two..... Teams like the Patriots can say they think they are the best of all time...But hell no.......the niners of the 80s and early 90s were something that will stand up in history as the greatest teams that ever played the game........almost two decades later and I still remember alot of names from the 80 niners and how special they really were..........
