I think the best gifts are the ones that have some thought and feeling behind them.

Here are some ideas I have used in the past.

1) Write a nice note to him and hand deliver it to him. I did this and brought him lunch too.

2) I bought a sexy lingerie set and wore it ofr him when he got home. I surprised him with dinner and me in the outfit.

3) I hand wrote some coupons for him. I made them good for different type of things like a back rub, romantic dinner. He really liked the one I made that said I would give hima facial and a nice shave. All he had to do was sit back and i did all the rest.

4) One of my favorite was a couples day at a local spa. we both had massages, and facials, he got a nice haircut and a sauna while I had a manicure and waxing done. The couples massage was wonderful.

Good luck.

Last year, I made my bf a Valentine's basket. I created everything. I bought the basket, red shredded paper, the big clear bag, and a bow. It was really nice :) I put different types of goodies that I knew he would like. He actually thought I bought it like that! You don't have to get all expensive things. Kind of mix it up. For example, the most expensive thing would be the cologne. You can go to Walmart or wherever, and shop for the other things to put in the basket. Hope this helps :)

Last year my girlfriend got me a pretty sweet lighter. It was red and shiny with a heart graphic, but the heart had barbed wire around it so it was still badass! If your guy's a smoker he might dig that. This year I'm thinking of getting her this sexy board game i saw on futurememories.com. That's the kind of gift we'll BOTH enjoy; I think the fellas in here will agree.

You should be able to find SOMETHING here:

this year i have booked a room at a five star hotel for us. a bit pricey, but he is worth it and i know he will love it. it is a romance package with champagne, strawberries and chocolates included.

in the past, i have also given him an iou book - filled with little iou's - such as a back massage, a free night out with the boys, a strip tease etc. he loved that one.

or you could always go with something like a watch, some clothes, some chocolates, some tickets to something he will enjoy etc.

I gave my boyfriend a dozen roses one time. He was so happy that a girl would actually get a guy flowers. He said i was the first girl that ever gave him flowers, and that was the sweetest and most thoughtful Valentines gift he ever had from a girl. Just in case your wondering that boyfriend of mine is now my husband!!!!

Card and balloons followed by a great home cooked meal and a massage/body rub. Or you can send him a silly gift and embarrass him with a singing telegram lol

As a guy, and although you might find it offensive, the best choice would be some intimate time. Guys really love that. If not that, then I would say some sort of sporting event tickets.

A homemade romantic candle light dinner at home while you are dressed in a sexy negligee. Perhaps followed by a full body massage.

Guys really seem to care about function. Try to get him something that he can use beyond one day. Something that will last until next Valentine's Day.
