Well then think about your language, you can't just slap sh*t on "paper" and hope everyone will read your mind - what you wrote there sounds like "now that she's broken, I might take advantage of it and get some" - that's what your "do I stand a chance" means, whether you actually meant it or not. And I fully agree with all the deservedly rude answers - maybe that'll teach you to think before you speak or, in this case, write.

I agree, that was a genuine question and those idiots really need shooting. And the original question, to answer that, yeah, I have no doubt that occurs. We lost our girl 2 1/2 years back and our life has been hell since and we just parted so I 'm part of that percentage.

edit: Some people fell that the anonymity the Internet affords gives them license to say whatever they want without repercussion. They would never say these thing if confronted face-to-face with another person. i.e. - they are cowards

Because some people are just rude and mean. You'll have to over look those. Not all people are like that and I'm sorry that they were rude but not everyone is nice.

When you aren't looking at someone face to face it is hard to tell if someone is being sarcastic or rude without being able to hear the tone of their voice or see their facial expressions. I think a lot of things get perceived incorrectly on the internet because of that.
