I've made numerous other sites for people but this is the first that I'm actually getting paid for. Only about 6 static pages but I also made the graphics. Just need a ballpark price, don't want to charge too much or too little.

There are different ways to bill... many times the size of the client business, their market penetration and share, how important the web is to them, etc. can all factor into a price. When you are just starting out, you will likely do small jobs for small customers that cannot pay or do not wish to pay more than a few hundred dollars for a site, because that is a reasonable investment considering the impact the site will have on their business.

When clients start selecting you over your competitors because you have something to offer, then you can start charging more because your clients are willing to come to *you* for your business rather than you trying to sell yourself to them.

It depends on your situation. If it is the former, I'd shoot for $500 to $1000. If it is the latter (and thus based on your actual skill level and time involved, rather than trying to get business), you could probably push as high as 2-3k.

You've definitely got some areas in which to improve, and the site very obviously belongs in the "small market/regional" category because you fall in with all the other sites that couldn't afford a designer good enough to compete on a major international or corporate level. Because of that, a few thousand is going to be your upper ceiling, period. Unless you found some sucker with cash to burn. In that case, more power to you.

Normally you would quote a price before, so I am guessing this is someone you know and the price will probably be less than a "normal" job. I would probably charge around $250-$300 for a site like that.

I know that this website is designed for kids but seriously it needs a lot of work i wouldn't consider buying it at all. Especially since i am a websdesigner this website is completely unattractive. I COULDN"T GIVE YOU ANY PRICE

look at the amount of time you spend.. then decide how much your time is worth.

$25 per hour would be a reasonable level if you are skilled.
