I'm trying to teach myself to knit. Does anyone know of any good websites with easy instructions/pictures?

Here is one with videos online that are helpful: http://www.knittinghelp.com/

Another way to learn is to buy some yarn at your local knitting store and ask for help--usually there's some set up for knitter's help at the store. Good luck and have fun!

I don't know if there is a website that has the pages or diagrams from the book available but I relearned how to knit from a great book called Stitch n' B (can't put the full title cos it's a swear). It's by Debbie Stoller. The instructions and diagrams in it are very easy to follow. I don't know if it is still available on overstock.com or not but I got it from there a couple years ago pretty cheaply and I would recommend the book because it's very helpful.

this is the perfect site to start knitting. I should know, this is how I started. saw 2 episodes and the rest came like second nature. :D
I perfer to make my own clothes anyways that way they fit and you can have the piece in any color and design you want.
