I would like to know what could cause the vaginal opening to increase in size. I noticed this the other day and don't know what it could be. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I am not trying to be graphic but if you need more information let me know. I am really worried about this i have a doctors appt but in the meantime i would like to have some opinions thanks

There could be a lot of things that could cause this to happen. Your best bet is to wait until you see your doctor, it is really hard for any of us to be able to give you advice on this without knowing more or knowing what you may have done to cause this. It depends on what exactly you mean by "increase in size". When your body is pregnant your labia get fuller due to the increase in blood and your body's circulation. The vaginal opening itself can get stretched from previous vaginal birth. If you have had a baby or are pregnant then it is not unusual to "look different" down there compared to pre-baby/pregnancy.

Are you pregnant? If so it could be the baby dropping prematurely this occurs when you have a condition known as incompetent cervix. It usually happens between 18/23 weeks when the weight of the baby gets to heavy for the cervix to hold and the sack spontaneously drops into the vagina.
If you are not pregnant sorry i have no clue.
