Nearest tube station is Marble Arch (right opposite) on the Central Line. Nearest main line station is Paddington from the west then buses 7, 23, 36, 436, or Victoria from the south then buses 36 or 436 . Any other main l;ine stations have easy tube access to the Central line although one change may be involved.

The nearest Main line station is unarguably Paddington NOT Victoria, nearest Underground is ....Wait for it..Marble Arch. I think both are on the Central Line

Obviously Marble Arch (Central Line) for the tube. Paddington is certainly the nearest station - but Victoria actually isn't that far away - and nor is Marylebone.

I presume you have a hotel booked near Marble Arch. The easiest way from Stansted to Marble Arch is to take the National Express coach. This stops in Oxford Street near Marble Arch. The Terravision bus runs direct to Victoria. It is not far from Victoria to Marble Arch and there are plenty of bus routes which cover this journey. From Marble Arch to Custom House. Take the Central Line to Bond Street (or walk to Bond Street, depending where you are staying it is not far). Jubilee Line to Canning Town, DLR to Custom House. Avoid changing at the Bank station as there is loads of escalator work going on there.

Nearest BR station is Paddington (Just up the Edgeware Rd). The nearest Underground is on Marble Arch.

Well Marble arch is the nearest underground station. but for national trains it is Paddinton or Marylebone
