I've gained about 10 pounds, but that was after losing 5 during my first trimester. I'm about 18 weeks pregnant now.

The rule of thumb is 3/4 a pound per week throughout the pregnancy for normal, average weight women. However, it should be noted that during the third trimester, the weight is mostly baby, so even though my doctor insists otherwise, I think that it is more heavily weighted to the end of pregnancy, than the beginning.

I've put on 6 pounds and I'm in my 11th week, so right on track according to my doctor. I note, however, that most of that weight appears to have settled in my butt and legs, so I'm not sure exactly how much of that is "necessary."

Around 10 lbs. give or take a few. On average most women are only supposed to gain 20-30 lbs throughout their whole pregnancy. It is OK if you don't gain quite as much, or even if you go a little bit over. Congrats and Good Luck.

Donno, depends on how big you were to begin with... Heavy set women sometimes lose weight as a baby in uteruo uses up her reserve to grow... skinny skinny women sometimes don't gain a whole lot through their whole pregnancy because they don't have any reserve and the baby uses any her body develops to grow.. an Average woman will gain anywhere between 25-35lbs through her whole pregnancy.... by 17 weeks I think I gained a pound... that was it. But now at 38w5d pregnant I've gained 30. That probibly doesn't help you at all but it's all i know.

Depends on your body type. I only gained a few pounds when I was 17 weeks pregnant. I'd ask my doctor.

Its all depends on your own body..But about 20-30 lbs. the entire time...You'll have plenty of time to loose it afterwards ,just focus on being pregnant first..Congradulations !!
