should be disowned by their families and forced to work for what they, get bring them into the real world.. especially the big headed a*seholes that go on 'sweet 16', and start moaning and crying to their dad because they bought them a $250000 car instead of a $300000 car and only spent $1 mill on their party instead of $1,500,000?

I hate all of that crap, and it makes me beyond sick to see how money is just thrown around in that garbage. And the funny thing is, poor people just eat it up and say they are good shows, I look at it and are like, "Yea, there are a lot of people who desperately need like 5 bucks just to get through a day, and they're throwing around $500,005!!" Forget that crap!

well, that show sweet 16 makes me want to throw up. Seriously. I despise those girls on it. When i turned 16, i went out to dinner to Outback Steakhouse with 5 friends and then 6 months later i got an affordable car and i was very pleased. People on that show dont live in the "real world". Things arent like that anywhere. And parties are SUCH a waste of money. All you need is a DJ, dance floor, and some food. Screw decorations and all that other crap they waste thousands of dollars on. :]

They would be homeless if they had to work, I think those kids are the reason we have so many irresponsible people in this world. If I had a kid that terrible like the ones on the sweet 16 shows I think Id drink myself silly, Id also not pay for anything the rest of their lives. When I turned 16 I ate pizza and cake and got a 1992 Chevy. It was good enough for me.

They should definitely have to work for everything and the parents should get a swift kick in the behind for granting their children's every wish. It's usually kids like that who don't know how to manage their money properly in the long run.

Besides, is it necessary to feature brats on the show? Why can't they feature kids who honor their parents for who they are and not for what their folks give them?

I find it all to be just disgraceful...but I, like others, also do find it to be entertaining.
It is completely out of touch with the way the real world is, and I hope that they someday have to find out on their own what it's like to experience it. That would make for some pretty good entertainment, too!

Reality check time. You are talking about people on TV. Reality show or not, this is a surreal world, designed to make you either pissed off or envious.
