Play the humble, ashasmed puppy. Ask for an explanation, not "what did I do wrong." Personally, I hate when students demand answers. Listen calmly without interruption, and if you think the charge is bogus, then do a "May I explain myself?" She's an adult, but sometimes teachers don't act like adults. If YOU show you're reasonable and willing to take responsibility for things you do wrong she's more likely to listen to you. Don't act like a spoiled brat. You're an adult. She's an adult. Adults don't whine. Her future treatment of you depends on your attitude this afternoon when you see her.
