There were these characters on the old popeye cartoons that I believe were called the goons, but I'm not positive. They were these tall looking things with long legs, long arms (kinda looked like monkey arms) and they had this puffy chest. The heads were round with a big nose and they wore little hats. Can anyone help me with some pictures or if they are even really called goons. I can't remember and it's bugging me. I've only found 2 people who know what I'm talking about, but nobody remembers their names. Thanks!

The Goon Show, brilliant piece of anarchic comedy from the golden age of radio when comedy didn't involve swearing and blatant smut. Oops, i guess i'm going to get thumbs down for praising The Goons. Who cares?
