The Papers say that The master will make a comback on Doctor who and that the main actor from life on Mars will be acting as him but in Dr who the Movie the master used up all of his 13 Regenerations and he got swallowed by the Tardis so how do you think he will Return?

Yes the movie counts as an official cause the Doctor in that one was counted as the 8th doctor making Eccleson the 9th Tennent the 10th. the movie was crap by the way and almost messed up the whole Doctor Who story by suggesting that he was a half Human and the Daleks still live in Skaro even although skaro was destroyed in The rememberence of the daleks! And since when do Daleks put someone on trial? And perfom an execution? They just simply say "Exterminate" and Zap people dead no questions asked.

well it never actually said that he used all of his regenerations and also in the film there was nothing to say he had been destroyed only sucked into the eye of harmony.
i don't know how he will return but as Russell T Davies says "its gotta be done by a good writer" it would be the worse thing after a successful Resurrection of Doctor Who to balls the Master's return up.
I also never understood in the movie why the Daleks where allowed to put the Master on trial and exterminating him, its like someone asking Adolf Hitler to put someone on trial for committing mass genocide. BIG MISTAKE.

This fixation on '12 regenerations' - fair enough, but how many Masters have we actually seen? We're talking Timelords here, after all!
There was mention of a new regeneration cycle for The Master in 'The Five Doctors', but even without that, I'm sure the writers could come up with some plotline to bring him back - after all, the Daleks have been wiped out MANY times.....

How funny i was watching an old Dr Who dvd the other day, the claws of axos and i said to my son; who's a big fan i, i wonder if they will bring him back but he was killed off in the movie. It's funny everyone gets frightened of the daleks and the cyberman, but i find evil when it's in the form of a human is far more frightening. I suppose they could say that he was released when Rose absorbed the power of the tardis, it caused some sort of weakness. I'd love him to come back

I'm hopeing they will have the Doctor go back and stop whatever happened (I mean, he IS a Timelord,right?)
Now, he was banished 'for life',well, he has used up his 'former' lives, this doesn't mean he can't get more lives,does it? I've not seen any of the Timelords just 'dissapear' into nothingness....so they must still exist.(I never saw that movie,by the way)
I DO hope whoever they get for the Master will be as handsome as Anthony Ainley,though!
(he was a wonderful person to meet)
And I also hope they don't dress him in leather,he has to be dashingly dangerous!

was the tv movie regarded as an official episode or not? if not as we know the tardis can restore life so through an accident maybe the tardis could restore the master to life. john simm would be great in the part and would put a modern spin on the part, be no one could replace the original

I haven't seen any mention of the Master in any of the mags.Personally i think the press are stirring it - just like the D.Tennant leaving story.I've read of some of the characters who are scheduled to appear & he hasn't been on any list.The Master used up all his "lives" so he's effectively dead.

I thought it was only 12 regenerations.but the Time Lords gave him another 12 for saving the doctor.i'm not sure when but i read that somewhere
