No.. valium can stop the baby's heart from beating or cause many health problems. You will have alot of blood test during a pregnancy.. this is something you should have tought of before getting pregnant. I pray that you have a smooth pregnancy.. cause if you become a high risk.. the more test will come. I hate needles myself.. but knowing it is for the baby.. I deal with it. When you have the baby, you will have to have a IV as well. Relax.. being tense and scare will cause your veins to hide. Try to picture a distance place.. like a favorite vacation spot.. close your eyes and it will be over before you know it.

One won't hurt. Yes take one as it won't hurt anything.
Doctor's know better than anyone on here and my doctor had me on valium during my pregnancy because i suffer from severe anxiety. They were written out to me to take as needed. I would only take them like that and not everyday. My son was and is healthy. Don't let these people act like you are killing someone by taking one little valium, it not like it is cocaine.

You amaze me. It's just a needle, you are not going to die. I sometimes under-estimate the power of the human mind (or lack of power it has)
