he says the caller id screen is too small to see who is calling, so he checks his cell phone first and then calls me back. I am the only one that calls him anyways...
I think he is hiding something, for example, he doesn't want the phone number to show up on the statement in call details so he is screening all incoming calls? ? Am I correct? Any detective ideas?

If he answered your calls would you think that he wasn't hiding something? Think about this real hard...as whether he answers your calls or not means absolutely nothing. He can simply not answer the "other woman's" calls and call on another phone even if he was answering yours!

Sure, you can forward his calls to your own cell but that wouldn't solve anything. The "other woman" would simply ask for Henry Smith and then say "Sorry, wrong number" and tell him that his wife answered his phone. Then you're busted! If she doesn't know he's married, she'll confront him and YOU'LL still be busted.

I'd say that you had better have more reasons to be suspicious than this one because the cell phone is the easiest thing for a cheating man to manipulate.

I would say that something is up. Who has time to screen cell phone calls to that degree? I mean it's not like he can't program in your cell phone number or the home phone number, so that he does know when you are calling. I have never heard such a stupid excuse. I would confront him about it. He is definitely hiding something.

well, if you confront him you would look like a control freak and that will cause more trouble in your marriage. do something like fwd his calls to your cell and let's see what you find out. my bf almost never answers his cell and it bothers me but in his case I kinda understand now why. if he doesnt need the cellphone, he doesnt carry his cell with him. he says that people in the past had to live without it and that is not a big deal if he doesnt have it with him all the time. I dont look through his stuff anymore because i gotta trust him. besides, he is with me all the time. the only time we are apart is when we go to work.

Another one! I mean do you women ever stop with the conspiracy theories? You say you are the only one that calls him anyways and in the next sentence you talking about he is hiding something from you. Let me tell you something......if he is creeping it is gonna show. Don't lower yourself by doing all this sneaking around and checking his phone. Either you trust your husband or you don't. If a man was doing this with his woman you women would all be up in arms about how he is controlling and needs to stop this behavior.

What else is he doing/saying that's making you suspicious?
It's usually a combinations of things. If he is truly doing anything, it will come out very soon. When one is doing such, it's not easy to keep it concealed. Have you seen his id screen? Is it really too small to see? If not, maybe he needs glasses. Why do we always suspect the worse, rather than the norm???

not sure how it wouldn't show up on the bill because all incoming calls weather he answers them or not are on the bill. If you get an online bill you can check there.Or you can get his phone and look at the incoming call list or even the outgoing calls to see who he is dialing. In my opinion it is easier to get the bill then the phone because he can delete numbers from his phone but not the bill.
Call him on it and tell him what you think, see what his reaction is, you're his wife and will be able to tell if he is lying or not, right?

Sure do what i once did, fwd his cell phone to yours. That way you get all his calls an you can find out who is calling him. Then change it before he gets home from work he will never know you had his calls fwd. Good luck

Hmm, he may be somewhere he doesn't want you to know. Are you sure you're the only one who calls him?

You may want to find out if there are any strange numbers on his phone and have a reverse lookup search done to identify them.

Get him a new cell with a bigger screen. If it keeps happening after that,he is just giving you excuses. And by the way,how do you know you are the only one who calls him?He might be cheating on you.

sounds fishy to me too . I would sit him down and ask him straight out why he does not pick it up right away ? and if you are not satisfied with the answer I would do some investigating of my own . good luck.
