The Parallax View is a classic but its more about the darkside of politics.
As said above, All the Presidents Men is also a classic.
ADDED: Completely forgot about the Fog of War mentioned below. That is THE biggest film about politics ever made and one of the most important. To have the Presidents right hand man tell you about what they did was unbelievable and should be seen by everyone.

clockwork orange is pretty good from what i hear... i like V for vendetta, but it mainly depends on what point in politics you're wanting to go for, since v for vendetta or more of a political -ish movie, since the focus on it is more on the vengance side and finishing what guy fawks started.
