NO!
There is nothing like 'love at first sight.' Rather, you have what we call INFATUATION. Infatuation is actually LUST. It is a mirage.
Those who baske in 'love at first sight' will always end up in pre-marital sex if they are of the opposite sex or they simply become homosexuals and reduce themselves to mere beasts if they are of the same sex. Their theory is 'a proof of live is sex'.

This is a high level of deception by those who want to exploit others. It is a way of capitalising on one's ignorance. TRUE live is never 'at first sight'

Love is first of all PURE!

NO! Never! Nothing like 'Love at first sight'!

Honestly, I feel there is a thin line between love at first sight and lust at first sight. The difference between the two is that if you already have a fixed image on what you want then MAYBE it can be love at first sight. But, honestly, I feel you can't just love someone, in this day and age, on just looking at them. Love is more than that. I'm not doubting that there is love at first sight, but it's just unrealistic, nowadays. You really don't know who is who and there is just tooo much diseases and such out there.

There are so many thumbs downs, I regret that you may only want people to tell you what you want to hear. I will still give you my opinion, to which everyone is entitled without judgment.

There can be extremely intense attraction at first site and sometimes even "chemistry"... but it takes time to get to know someone on the inside for true love to develop.

In the end, if the two people who were instantly attracted, actually do fall in love, they may believe it was love at first site. But it was still initially an intense attracted that developed into love.

Love is not about appearance or chemistry, it's about a deep bonding grown from creating memories together, going through ups and downs together, forgiveness, connecting deeply through the mind and soul... things which take time and are not instant.

Since actual love requires knowing someone well enough to actually be in love with THEM, and not some image or fantasy of them, then of course there isn't love at first sight. Attraction, lust, infatuation, obsession, sure. But not love. Any reasonable definition of love would include knowing the actual person, not merely how they look.

I never really believed it, and I really didn't believe it could happen to me, which is a self-fulfilling prophecy. I do believe it's happened to some people and I now think that it's our nature to love, and we spend more time resisting it and overthinking it so we won't get hurt. Love at first sight is probably the truest thing.

no - love takes time to present itself; lust and attraction, however, are possible at first sight. There is, I believe one exception to this rule, and that is a mother claiming to love her baby the moment she sees it, because there is just that natural bond. Even that, though, is acquired love - throough having the baby in your stomach for nine months.

Nope, but theres some pretty strong lust at first sight that could be mistaken for love.

i think you can be attracted and intrigued by someone so much that it feels like "love" at first, but it's really infatuation.

true love definitely comes after some time, when you get to know the person better and realize that they aren't as perfect as you thought when you first saw them, but you still love them.
